Girls' and Boys' Glee Clubs OON after the opening oi' school the Glee Clubs began practice. 'i he girls, in clue time, sang before the Assembly and won instant approval. Work was commenced a little later, on the operetta, t'Patricia . Both Glee Clubs were represented in the main parts of Patricia , and the rest of the members made up the chorus. The H. S. orchestra played with the choruses and during the intermission. The musical comedy was a story of a maid in the Montgomery house- hold lzc-ing: presented iizcognito to a crowd ol' aristocratic young people. The maid took the name oi' Lady Patriciai and was so introcluced by Reginald. Mrs. lll0Dl1Q'0lll01'Y7S son. The people plan a picnic and while in the woods come across some gypsy girls who tell their fortunes. Mrs. Montggoinery ar- rives in time to reveal Patricia's real identity. Frieda. Schliep took the part of ul.,Zlt1'lCl2lll and carried her role most ably. The Work of Mary Logan, Marguerite Mountain, Sam Ewart and Har- lan Perdew was exceptionally fine. This operetta was given February 28th at the Auclitorium, and was one of the big: successes of the season.
