The teachers and students of Mt. Pleasant School were saddened by the passing of a dear friend and teacher, Miss Julia McMillan, on February 9, 1959, Miss McMillan spent forty-three years as a con- scientious and inspiring teacher of our school, We feel a deep sense of appreciation for the long and faithful service she has rendered, Miss McMillan influenced the lives of a large majority ofthe present student body and has been an inspiring teacher to over sixteen hundred former students.
