Colophon We as members of the Hurst High Class at 1957 wish to put forth this yearbook that will recall many past memories of the days that were spent in the halls of this school. Included in this book are iust a few previews of the many events that have occurred in the years. Kashin, Under the capable sponsorship of Mr. Freed, the commercial depart- ment established an organization in 1947 which consists of iunior and senior commercial students. The main objective of this organization, the Senior Chamber of Com- merce, is to raise adequate funds in order to purchase up-to-date equip- ment tor the business training department. In addition to holding a variety of fund-raising programs, the annual dance and skating party have always been successful-socially and finan- cially. At the end of each school term, a Spring Banquet is held in honor of the senior members. i4
