From the administration, let us go to the student activities As an example, willing and endeaxoring majorettes are a great help to the band which is one ol' the best in the county To promote leadership, and to stimulate association among students, various clubs hax e been organized However, the school curriculum would not be coni- plete without the athletic department Football, which is the major interest, basketball, and baseball are representatile of the sports played at Hurst These sports bring the adxantages of wholesome rivalry to the athlete and spectator, The competitor not only dexelops physical strength but also culti- xates the xirtues of sportsmanship, tolerance, co- operation, sincerity, and faithfulness You can see how the administration, the activities, and the athletics must work together to form your ideal school life
