ADMINISTRA-. ION When one thinks of a school, one immediately pictures a teacher in the presence of students. These boys and girls may be busy in some academic study or developing skills on a typewriter or machine in the shop. At any rate, the word, school , to most people suggests the teacher-pupil relationship. We can't imagine a school without a teacher anymore than a school without pupils. Let us pause to pay tribute to our faculty. We are especially proud of our administrators at Hurst. Mr. Rumbaugh, our superintendent, gives us the best of almost thirty years of experience in school work, By foreseeing many of our difhculties, he has helped us to meet and overcome them. Dr. Mullin, our principal, comes in closer contact with the student body. Students feel free to discuss with him questions regarding their present or future edu- cational problems. The students' desires and am- bitions are his greatest concern. Our twenty-live faculty members, ten of whom possess Master's degrees, represent a high type of individuals, whose greatest interest is the welfare of each student. Not only in the class room, but on the football field, on the stage, and in the shop extra hours are gladly given that we as students might benefit. As Alexander of Macedon has said, I am indebted to my father for living, but to my teacher for living well.
