classes struggle hard with Miss Myers, Miss Bamhart, and Miss Kaputa in understanding Silas Marnerl' and Ivanhoe . It is cer- tain the freshmen English students did not expect to have to con- tinue conjugating verbs after they entered high school, but Miss Andrews and Miss Potts, their teachers, think they will be doing so for some time. From Room 3 we may hear Parlez vous francais? from the junior French class, and Hje trouve le francais tres bien from the senior French class. We wonder what it means, nevertheless, we know it's French that Miss Beacom is teaching. Then suddenly we hear strange sounds from Miss Andrews class. The freshmen are conjuating Latin verbs which sound like tongue twisters. The soph- omores are becoming friends of Caesar, while the juniors and seniors enjoy themselves with Vergil.
