Pleasant stop- ped Jefferson in almost all aspects of the game. The Tiger defense gave up little ground yardage and little passing yardage as the Bulldog aerial attack proved unsuccessful. Pleasant the Clarksville Tigers came to town. Since the field was wet, the Blue Tigers thought it might even things up a bit. lt did for awhile as Blue scored a TD and went ahead 8-6. That was the last time Clarksville touched the end zone as the wet and cold Going Gold Tigers went on to win 34-8.
