Pleasant strolled into Paris looking for a victory but were surprised in the first half by the 20 points scored by the Wildcats and 7 for the Tigs. The second half of play was all Mt. Pleasant as the Tigers came from behind to take Paris 30-20. It was a very well played second half for the Tigs.

The game was close and hard fought. Mt. Pleasant began the game scoring in the first half with a field goal by Jim Brown. In the second half Mar- shall broke for a 60 yard TD and later the Mavs booted a field goal for the final tally of 11-3 .

Nabs Nacogdoches The Nacogdoches and Mt. Pleasant matchup proved to be a good hard-hitting football game. It was the first home game, and the Mt. Pleasant fans got a good look at the Tigers. The Tigs went on to win 28- 17.
