Da - in the Office or in Class lnstrumental in the operation of our school is Mr. William I. Purnell, Assistant Principal. Also serving as Senior Class Advisor, Mr. Purnell guides the seniors through their busy final year. ln his capacity as Director of Athletics, he is required to schedule athletic contests and secure referees. Mr. Purnell may also be seen regulat- ing traffic to and from the cafeteria. Mount Penn is certainly fortunate to have such an ef- ficient worker on its staff. Mr. David S. Zimmerman might be called an- other class advisor except that he serves as guidance counselor for the entire student body. A good sense of humor and sincere helpfulness characterize this affable man. The efficient running of the high school office depends upon its secretaries, Mrs. Janice Lincoln and Mrs. Sandra Paris. Filling out late slips and procuring keys for students are only two of their multitudinous duties. We all call upon the services of the office staff at one time or an- other, and certainly owe them a debt of gratitude. Assistant Principal M-r. William l. Purnell poses for our PENN ALMA photographer. Caught by the camera during an interesting P.O.D. discussion I5 are Michael Roland and Mr. Purnell.
