And With our VICTORY IDEALS onward The 'nazafzean S2666 Before Christmas holidays the Seniors decided to publish a Yearbook for the first time in the annals of Mount Nazareth. As the Year 1942 swung into place, bringing with it the necessity of organizing a staff for the first publication of the NAZAREAN, things began to look gloomy for the Seniors. Times were hard with War at hand. The editing of a volume, entailing the expenses of the NAZAREAN would be positive folly. And yet, could this journalistic minded class of '42 endure the taunting I told you so? No, a NAZAREAN must be published. And so they proceeded to carry out their plans and ambitions to immortalize the Class of '42 in picture, in poetry, and in prose. The Seniors' first step was the election of Martha Gil as the editor-in- chief. Together with her capable assistant the editor began to publish the NAZAREAN. The financial end of the project was also placed in the hands of an able executive, Regina Raszymczyk, who announced a campaign for adver- tlsements and stoically pronounced her ultimatum: Ads or no Annual. What was there to be done but to heed the mandate. Did they succeed? We shall let the NAZAREAN answer for itself. The Seniors, themselves, feel justly prould of their Annual and wish to thank sincerely all the underclassmen, who by joining their patron, ad, or subscription list, have helped to make this 1942 NAZAREAN go over as big success. THE STAFF

Ere POLAND dies. They fall, to show the world That POLAND will live again.
