In 1950 the Xlounders won 3 out of T games, completing their most successful season for a number of years. In conference play Xlt. Mor- ris tied with Lanark and Oregon for second place honors. The .Xlounders began the season with an easy win over the Ifast Rockford jayvees. In their second game they lost a hard-fought battle to Rocktong in the third. Oregon squeezed ln' them by 6 points. In their fourth game, the 7 .Xlounders fell apart under the steady pounding of Polo's speedy hacks for their xxorst loss of the season. The homecoming game sau' the team catch tire and trounce Lanark lax' :ll points. Carrying over some of that tire 'they heat hack a stulmlzorn Xlt. Carroll team the next week.
