MORRIS SONIAN SA LUTA TORY Parents Teachers and Fr1ends There are many events wh1ch stand out from all the others 1n ones memory Graduat1on IS one of them A few others may be the f1rst day of school, Jo1n1ng the church of your cho1ce your f1rst date and the flrst honor you rece1ved dur1ng your h1gh school years Each of these was the opemng of a new phase of your llfe Each occasxon brought Wlth It new prlvlleges as well as add1t1onal respons1b1l1t1es A challenge came w1th the new occasron We must look at graduatxon as the beglnnmg of a new phase of our l1ves We have been prepar1ng for th1s new venture through our entmre school l1fe Untold and undreamed of oppor tun1t1es l1e ahead of each one of us The manner 1n wh1ch we meet the challenge that th1s tlme of graduatlon br1ngs to us w1ll help determme wh1ch opportun1t1es w1ll come our way ln later l1fe and how we w1ll meet them Each event leads to another event The manner ln wh1ch you treat each one w1ll determ1ne wh1ch other event w1ll follow We must now work to see that the events 1n our l1ves are happy ones or at least that we w1ll be vlctorlous over what ever may l1e ahead of us Our many and deepfelt thanks go to the teachers who have helped to make our hmgh school year ngoyable and have helped to prepare us for our future l1ves Burton Jones I I , .
