'A X Z' 'l'i f. - Lili , Ztpaatde When was there ever time to eat, sleep, and study? At Mount Miguel so many activities were available, such as sports, clubs, and after school activities all year long. To participate in the many activities surrounding the school, the only requirement was to give up some time to make If you were part of a sport, many hours were spent perfecting techniques that set Mount Miguel apart from other schools. Energy was drained out of a student but it was Wort the effort. Satisfaction came when a ame was won, a first place in a race, or just in i V a successful goal. Moments such as these co y never be replaced. Numero M clubs were scattered around the school. B ' ring a lunch, eople were able socially ynd academically intermix and learn new afd more exciting things not of- fered in the fclassroom. If you still had time available, many school s onsored activities were available to the student body. Football games, dances, and amusement park trips were a small selection of the many activities offered throughout the ear. A scorched trail of progress was left behind by the achievements from Mount Miguel's active stu- dent body. , t Opening 5

1' 7 Do you remember the large amounts of homework and cramming for a test the night before? These were only a few of the vressures that Mount Miguel students had to face. ome other stressful things that students had were hard class schedules, family responsibilities, lobs, and peer pressure. Responsibility after responsibi ity were placed upon the students shoulders. How did we survive? The academic year was an in- tensive time. Hours of concentration in classes were spent in order to maintain grades. Deadlines for reports, tests, and colleges, strained many students. Relief seemed around the corner but it was often hard to reach. During this time, high school would have been unbearable if caring and understanding people had not been out there. If any roblems, social or academic, were too lar e to handlve, friends, parents, and faculty unselfishly leant a helping hand out. This was graciously accepted. Both good and bad exe perience helped us to grow and learn more about life. 'Q t e Mb
