CLASS of '67 RON COKER Class President JACKIE LEATHERMAN Vice-President CHRIS PUTNAM Secretary Carrying on Tradition Seniors Close Decade Guided by Counselor Venelee Field and President Ron Coker, the Senior Class had a successful year. The joint efforts of advisors, faculty, officers, counselors and students have helped to outline the future of 585 Seniors. A new tradition was established this year when the Senior Class Council decided to ini- tiate a Senior Week which was held the second week in February. The events be- gan with Singing Valentines on February 14 and continued with Senior Casual and Dress-up Days. Among the various ac- tivities this year were the Senior Ban- quet, which was held at the Hilton Inn, the Prom, the highlight of the year, and the After-Prom, which featured Sandy and the Classics. After three years of anticipation, the Seniors finally received their valued priv- ileges. These include a more convenient parking space, senior priority in lunch and dance lines, and their bids for Sen- ior activities at a lower cost. Donning caps and gowns, signing yearbooks, checking out of classes, and putting away treasured memories of four years of high school, members of the Class of '67 brought to a close the first decade in Nlt.
