Books ordered. Football practice starts, September .9-Rain! Juniors buying Macbeth. September I0-Anna Rose discovers that Mr. Miller is not here, September 11--Everyone busy. September 12-Big parade! Captain Harvey all dressed up, l'Look, girls! September 15-No school. Teachers go to Oak Hill. September I6-Some books arrive. Seniors presented pennant by Bill Ward for selling most MoNs SPE1 last year. Senior select class oficers and order class rings. September I7-Annual Staff elected. September 18-Literary Societies meet and organize. September 20-High School's first football game with Y. M. C. A. Score 7-0 in favor of High School. September 21-Rain! Everyone blue. September 22-Mr. Doddrill speaks to High School on School Spirit. September 23-Seniors having an awful time with Chemistry. September 24-Paul Garrett sent out of Botany. He is going to attend Institute at Hill Top next year. September 25-Sophs have moon-lite picnic. September 26'-Chapel. Peerless Literary Society renders their first program. September 27-Mt. Hope defeats Fayetteville, 19-0. September 28-Frances Carter still continues to stick her nose in everything while working in Lab. September 30-Miss Mann leading Chapel for the week. Any announcements please place on table. October 1-Hi-Y lead chapel. They were honored in having Rev. Bagdad preach a sermon for them. October 2-Why worry? Everybody happy. October 3-No school.
