Having safely survived exams, we turned our talents to the two star attractions of the year, Soph Skit and Soph Hop. In Skit we visited ‘ Pooh Land”, and saw our classmates transformed into such characters as Eyor, Piglet and Rabbit. Soph Hop rang down the curtain on a wonderful year of learning and good times for the yellow Sphinx. 23

I Class officers: McGregor, Judd, Winkle, Jacobs, Graham (president), Andrews. CLASS OF '55 22 1955 filled the year with so many activities that there wasn’t time for the perennial ‘slump”. First there was Soph Reception, an “out of this world” affair that would have made Buck Rogers turn green with envy. Xot ready to rest on our laurels at such an early date, at Christmas we decorated the chapel, serenaded the campus with carols, and had a class breakfast.

CLASS OF '54 Junior Year . . . the last chance to do tilings without a constant nostalgia. Those first days were the ones when we proudly showed the college to our newly acquired Little Sisters. Then right away we plunged info a unique interpretation of Wagner’s “Das Rheingold”. With the dragon suc- cessfully destroyed by November First, we were able to return to studying our advanced courses, we thought. However, it seemed that we found ourselves singing in the choir and Glee Club and selling Junior Lunch and making plans for Junior Prom instead. We got some work done though, and the close warm friendships fostered by sharing studies, moods and problems, have created the unity that shall make us forever ’o4.
