of it. Our music unites the campus, and we face the rest of the world singing. Glee Club brings Christ- mas to the campus. The first of the festive excite- ment of the Noel runs through the hearts of us all as we hear Holy Day Holly’ rise in elation through- out the chapel. The deep red robes, the soft white cottas, Miss Douglass graceful hands drawing out the rich notes, the mellow golden glow of chapel light — we will not forget them. Glee Club brings spring to the campus. The delightful swing of the Arkansas Traveller' sends ripples of delight through us all. The solt blend of pastel-colored evening dresses, tier upon tier of singing faces, all watching and depending upon Miss Douglass we will not forget them. GLEE CLUB Glee Club Officers: Hart Tibbitts, Tiitoy, DuHnn Mi sic i nites us in a common joy of beauty. It wipes away our differences, puts warmth into our hearts. Glee Club unites two classes — juniors and seniors; all sing as one voice for the very enjoyment 24

Cabin, hilarious nights, with not much sleep, marvelous food, and with songs and stories to keep us warm and serve for comfort, in the Fall when it's not so cold, in the winter when it's not so warm . . . bicycle trips, ski trips, hiking, and mountain climbing . . . roasted apples, cider and picnics by the fireplace . . . always song, always laughter . . . we know well how to enjev our ( on necticut valley. The activities of the Outing ( lub lead us through Fall, eager for our first visit to the ( abin, first midnight climb to the top of the moun- tain . . . lead us exploring the autumn countryside, climbing trees for apples, watching the leaves color and fall, and singing away the crisp, clear nights, mingling our song with the smell of leaves and a dying fire, lead us through a merry Thanksgiving with a song test to crown the day . . . lead us into winter and Saturday »ki trips . . . lead us plodding up through the blue snow to bump our boots against the Cabin d( or. and rest in melting snow pools beside the tire.
