MARIE ELBERSON HELEN WARE FRANK SERRANO JAMES LESTER The first meeting of the junior Class was held in November to elect our oiiicers for 1942. Our Junior dance, the Hallowe'en Frolic with the High Hat- ter's Orchestra, was a financial success. The arrival of our class ring was anticipated by all of us this year, with much enthusiasm. We now look forward to the biggest event of our High School career, the junior-Senior Prom. We hope to make this an event that will long be re- membered. THE RED OAK CLASS . i JACK GERRY DOROTHY JONES ROBERT PARKER SALLY MATHIS We, the class or 1944, found it a pleasure to enter the High School as Freshmen. We were greeted by the Welcome Dance, sponsored by the Student Council. In November we elected as our president, 'William Pettitg vice president, Dorothy Underwoodg secretary, Ruth Braddockg and Anna Bozarth as treasurer. Two outstanding events of the year were the Sham- rock Shag which proved to be very successful, and our active contribution to the beautification of our campus. Our dance in April was highly successful. The Red Cross was supported whole-heartedly by the Sophmore home rooms. The members of the class are eagerly looking forward to more exciting events during the remaining years at Mount Holly High School.
