re©eAifed ' kkeJbfxU.al of ic fckooi J ouxfc fflottycMbrt) QdrolifC r t swr . .. We, the Class of 1961, claim the honor of being the first to graduate from Our New School. Excited and expectant, we took our places here, eager to adapt ourselves to the new surroundings. Still there were within our hearts the memories of pleasant days spent in Our Old School, where a large portion of our lives took shape. Now, as our high school days are ending, we experience these same mixed feelings of the old and the new. With acute nostalgia our minds recall the events and people of Mount Holly High; yet, we await the future with anticipation, determination, and courage. • • Administration .5 Classes .9 Acfivifies.47 Athletics .77 Dedicated to... Mr. Kenwood Royal Mr. Royal ... a coach. To a man who, in only two years, has won the sincere regard of his students. As a coach, he has been a fine example of good sportsmanship and fairplay. Asateacher, he has achieved the student- teacher relationship of being admired and respected but, at the same time, of being one of them.” To you, Coach Kenwood Royal, we dedicate the 1961 edition of The Holly Hawk with our best wishes and deepest gratitude.
