In celebration of the Bicentennial, America the Beautiful was chosen as the theme of Vikings Day '75, held on October 4. The day's activities began with the traditional Vikings Day Parade, featuring the Marching Band, Lancers, and Cavaliers. A colorful array of floats followed, with those of the AFS club and the Junior Class being declared the win- ners of the float competition. Her princesses were Tami Lodder, Kim Snead, Cindy Sutton, Kim Axt, Kim Rus- sell, Cindy Buttling, Kathy Ellis, and Becky Hardy.
