Varsity Football Shines nder New Managemen Randy Poisal, Steve Serio, Mark Gillis, Dave Morris, Greg Meier, Mickey Karr, Rick Long, Bill Kelvey, Captain Greg Davis, Captain Kevin Leigh, Captain Sal Rallo, Doug Falk, Chris Nitz, Wayne Gardner, George Ballantine, Leroy Scott, Bob Flannery, Keith Fisher, Bob Ballantine, Steve Mahar, Tom Mullen, Bruce Zimmermann, Wayne Wilson, Coach Holshue, Chuck Lowman, jeff Brock, Mark Williams, Ed Addison, Richard Kloetzi, Mike Bozman, Bob Gavlin, Barry Boone, Scott Reeder, Coach Terpening, Pat Garrett, Bill Fisher, Mark Jensen, Dennis Axline, Phil Yancey, Dave Jensen, Tony Rallo, Wayne Storie, Doug Martin. The Varsity football squad had a new plus this year, team unity. Under the new Head Coach Bob Terpening, they compiled a 5-4-1 record. The run- ning attack consisted of Bob Flannery, Sal Rallo and Greg Davis, led by quar- terback Mark Gillis. The strong offen- sive line was made up of Steve Mahar, Scott Reeder, George Ballantine, Wayne Gardner, Tom Mullen, Kevin Leigh and Leroy Scott. The Viking defense consisted of Leroy Scott, Wayne Gardner, Bob Ballantine, Tom Mullen and Kevin Leigh on the line and Dave Morris, Bruce Zimmermann, Greg Davis, Sal Rallo, Steve Serio and Phil Yancey in the Backfield. The powerful offense consisted of Kevin Maher, Greg Long, Bruce Kehr, and Brian Dalton in tl'1C backfield and DZVC The startofalaong run! Sikora, Doug Rundle, Tony Notori, Ken Sikora, George Hale, Art DeCarlo, and Steve Smith on the line. . The defense line consisted of Billy McDermott, Dan Chetelate, jacob Parr, Gary Martin, and Rob Lucido. The defensive backs were Dave Adam- son, Tony Notori, Mike Thompson, Dean Jensen, joe Rogers, and Kerry judge. Coach Greenburg summed the sea- son up saying, Everyone bf the 36 guys on this team contributed immensely to this great season. It was truly a team effort.
