,,.u..f CLASS POEM MEMORIES OF GILEAD O fellow classmates, all too soon There comes the time, though oft unjust, When we, without fond backward looks, Must leave our teachers and our booksg And friends, whom meinory ne'er o'erlooks For graduate we must. We know that in our hearts will live The fondest mem'ries of these years-- The flagpole, where the gang all metg The lawn, each morning, dewy wetg These little things We'll not forget Though youth soon disappears. We'll also think of teachers who Would help us over high school's hills, Of fun we had on all our tripsg Of groups of friends, all making quipsg And, finally, of Conduct Slips. This, memory distills.
