Makes Visit To High School Each year Mount Gilead competes with the county schools in the Red Cross' high school blood drive. F.M.A. advisor, Mrs. Virginia Meyer, re- cruits students not only to give blood, but also to help Red Cross person- nel register donors, to act as hostesses at the canteen, and to generally offer help where needed. In a valiant effort to win back the Red Cross trophy, 64 students and faculty members donated 58 pints of blood on February 22nd. Although the rotating trophy given to the county school that donated the most blood was lost, everyone should be commended for his effort.
