dministration Overcomes Numerous Problems Clayton Dusek Superintendent For members of the Mount Gilead Board of Educa- tion, the Administration, and the Teaching Staff, the 1976-77 school year was a memorable one. The year contained many challenges, difficult decisions, and many successes. With the leadership of superintendent Clayton Dusek and his administrative staff and the sup- port of the Mount Gilead School Staff, the Board of Edu- cation Was able to overcome the problems of school closings because of bad Weather and the energy crisis. The Mount Gilead Schools were also successful in passing a school operating levy. Mrs. Donna Jackson explains a grammar rule to her Spanish I class. 4 Mrs. Dorothea Barry is head of the English Department and teaches Junior and Senior English classes. Mrs. Suzanne Beck teaches Bookkeeping, Basic Math, and Personal Typing. Miss Michelle Baker teaches Freshman, Sophomore, and Jun- ior English classes. Speech teacher Dave Hammond works with the technical crew in constructing props for Charlie Brown . Mrs. Nancy Kennedy corrects papers from one of her several typing classes. 7
