FHA COMPLETES MANY PROJECTS THIS YEAR The F.H.A. started the year off with a new summer program. It was decided to hold one activity per month. In June, members went to Cedar Point and although it rained, it didn't dampen the girls' enthusiasm. A canoeing outing to Mohican State Park was July's activity. It didn't rain that day but most of the girls ended up getting wet just the same. To end their summer program, the girls went to the Ohio State Fair where they were in charge of the Child Care Center. With the new school came new mem- bers and initiation which was fun for the old members. One of the big annual events is the FHA-FFA I-Iayride which was held the last of October. Holiday activities were a piz- za party, Christmas caroling, and a Christmas Party with a gift exchange. In February, the club held a candy rafie and observed FHA Week. April was a busy month. Some members attended the year's second County Rally and FHA served at the FFA Banquet. In May a Recognition Tea was held to give awards to FHA members for outstanding work. Also new officers for the coming year were installed. To end the year, a picnic was held at the State Lakes. One of Fl-IA's many projects this year was the raffle for a box of Valentine candy.
