SOPHOMORE CLASS OFFICERS Treasurer: Larry VVood, President: Don Bader, Secretary: Rebecca Halbert. Our first project this year was a class dance, The Sophomore Dance, on October 1, following the Marion St. Mary football game. It was the Hrst dance of the school year and we were very successful. Seven of our class members are on the reserve basketball squad and one is on the varsity squad. We would like to give a vote of thanks to our advisers, Mrs. Bowen and Mr. Truitt, who have helped us very much. Page 24

FRESHMAN CLASS OFFICERS Secretary: Janice Shaw, President: Suzanne Zwayer, Vice President: Bob Richardson. The Freshman class began the year with an enrollment of sixty students. That number has only been decreased by one, james Breece, who moved to New jersey. The two Student Council members elected for the year, were Don White and Frank Bendle. The social event was our dance, The Gold Diggeris Ball , held after the Iohnsville basketball game on january 7, 1955. The class was especially proud of having two members selected for cheerleaders, Diane Woodward on the reserve and Suzanne Zwayer on the varsity. Roxanne Finley won an all expense paid trip to Detroit through being a winner in che Ohio Edison Science Contest. To Mrs. Ziegler and Mrs. Hubbert go our sincere gratitude for their co-operation and guidance during the past year. Page 26
