CUMM. APPRCVES TE -YE R PL Plans for preventive maintenance - and other plans to re-equip and refurnish - on a revolving ten-year basis were approved by the school committee last fall. The ten-year revolving plans Cinstituted by recommen- dation of Mr. Doyle, director of buildings and groundsl will effect proper maintenance of district buildings and replace obsolete or worn-out equipment and furnishings. In essence, instead of waiting for major repair - or re-equipping - and being confront- ed by sudden, unforeseen, and compulsive expendi- ture, a preventive scheduling for upkeep will keep district plant expenses on a relatively minimal and predictable level.
