This group monitors the lines of upper ind loworclassmen while they buy brunch and lunch. Sophomore Service 'Block that pass is not only a favorite saying at football games in the fall, but is also heard all year long at our brunch and lunch lines. The students who usually whisper, speak or yell this maxim are the mem- bers of Sophomore Service. These sophomore stu- dents are picked in June of their freshman year by the Sophomore Service Adviser and the future Soph- omore Representative. In the fall when school begins, these sophomores also begin their year-long job of disciplining students in brunch or lunch lines. Social Affairs Heading the Social Affairs Committee this year was commissioner, Linda Jason. This committee works to present bigger and better dances to Mt. Diablo High School. Its chief duties are to obtain fit music —be it records or live band, present decorations, and secure refreshments. In the past, dances have been the only activity put out by Social Affairs Committee: this year, though, it was proud to present the first Annual Homecom- ing to Mt. Diablo High School.
