MIKE HASTINGS ROSANN LINFORD LINDA DOMINGUEZ MIKE SWEENEY president vice-president secretary representative Spearheading attach in cuter Space SOPHOMORES Mike Hastings, sophomore president led the Class of '61 to plan its schedule of activities this year. The first activity turned the Girls' Gym into a v inter won- derland with the decorations for the Christmas Formal entitled Silver Bells. To finance all of the projects, it was necessary for the class to hold a car wash on December 13, which added $45.00 to the sophomore treasury. A cake sale v as also held in which the class made a profit of approximately $30.00. November 13 was another important date, for on that date the class presented its assembly entitled Juke Box Baby. It was a talent scout's dream displaying a number of unknown greats. Many sophomores won awards this year, among them was Tom Brown who received honorable mention in basketball. The class owes much of its activity success to its three advisers, Mr. Walter Kelson, Mrs. Ruth Lundgren, and Miss Karen Nix, Mike said. r ADVISERS This year's adviser-. were Mill Karon Ni .
