The '54-'55 crop of dances featured live ensembles and bands, and each had a record attendance. Most fresh took advantage of the get- acquainted theme of the first dance. Let's Dance. Football fans were invited to the first two- hour after-game dance. Rooters' Rhythm. Before Christmas the Sophomores used their imaginations to change the Gym into a Pep- permint Palace. Diablos Varsitonians made their dance debut shortly after the turn of the now year at the Sadie Hawkins Dance. Later they played for the Valentine dance. Cupid's Capers and the Block D's annual dance. Night of Knights. April 22 saw the Juniors pay homaqc tc soring at their prom. Garden in the Rain. The year ended with the Seniors’ Grand Bali, Fantasia. 17
