The major aim of the Girls' Physical Education Department is to provide a well-rounded program of activities which con- tribute toward physical well-being. It is hoped that through participation in the various activities the student will grow in muscular proficiency, sportsmanship, cooperation and exper- ience satisfying social relationships. Girls may select activities within certain limits, however, as a means of orientation, tho Freshmen have a required program of activities. 12
