SOPHOMORE CLASS OFFICERS LEFT TO RIGHT: Davelle Elling. presi- dent; Pat MeKeniie, secretary-treas- urer; Bill Hillman, vice-president. SOPHOMORES The mighty sophomores came back to school with a bang. After being flustered frosh for a year, they found an outlet for excess energy in picking on the new freshmen. Due to the absence of activity period, class officers Davelie Elling. president: Bill Hillman, vice-president; and Pat McKenzie, secretary, were not elected before the third report period. The combined efforts of the sophomores and the dance committee produced the Christmas Formal, one of the best dances of the year. The theme was carried out with a Christmas tree, a snowman, and glittering stars. The happy dancers felt as if they were truly in a Winter Wonderland. March 29 saw the class of '52 staging a top Fashion Show. The beauties boosted the class treasury. June 16—Just think. Juniors now!
