entered the band in 1940. She has been in the chorus for four years and during her senior year sang in the sextet. She is a member of the Booster's Club and the Sunshine Society June has been in 4 H for nine years, exhibiting at the State Fair and par ticipa ing in the State Dress Revue She has played ro es in three h gh scne l plays Her mind seems to ever dwell on Purdue John Stader will be remembered for his interest's's's in War ren Central He is remembered for his liveliness at school and partie John has also been here for the entire twelve vears ie was student manager for tno years, and played on the first team du ing his iunior and senior years He has been on the track team for two y ars Jonn has alway liked subgects dealing science, particularly biology Of course, John is interested som thing else, his love affairs and aviation Both are a good vocation, John Richard Steele entered ht Comfort in l932 He withdrew the fall of 1943, re entering to graduate with the class of H484 During his time in school, he has played the saxophone in orches tra for four years He was in the junior class play of l942 and the senior play of '48 He is a member of the Booster's Clwib and has attended most of the home games with a little girl named Lois Congratulations' We have all seen Lo1s's left hand Dick will always be remembered for his HTe Hen laugh He has been a member of the 4 H Club for three years Barbara Jean St wart entered Mt Comfort from Warren Central in 1943 Barbara has a very pleasing personality, and her favor ite subgect is bookkeeping She has been in chorus for four years Barbara is chairman of the finance committee of the Home Economics Club She has played roles in three high school plays the Junior play of 46, the Junior ulay of '47, and the senior play of '48 ities Her ambit on is to become a stewarde s for an airline She 1S very fond of horses and loves going riding Juanita Striebeck entered Mt Comfort during our freshman year from Arsenal Technical High School She ha participated in chorus for four years and in her senior year sang alto in the G1Tl'S Sextet which placed in the District ard State Music Con test Juanita is president of our Sun hine Society She ixs acted in the Junior play of '46, the Junior play of '47, and the senior play of '48 Her favorite subgect is Al Greene s Place , her favorite past time is flirting, her favorite sport is roller skating Arnella Whiteside, another twelv fear member, is remembered as the best Wbanana split makern in school Nellie wa rather quiet in the grade but grew out of that during ner high school years Arnella na been in chorus for fot years She has been a verj good booster at ll of the bask t ball games and nas proved to be a v rj good sales lady of co c s ions Because of her acceptable personality, she 1 beer abletn make many friend She engoys thrilling and exciting rides, especially tue UF1ashU, which seem to be plentiful at amusement parks . .
