Let There Be Light, Color And Motion PROJECTION CREW With the purchase of a new Cinemascope screen and lens adaptor, the projection Crew's duties were doubled. Stage Crew Serves School St Community STAGE CREW lt is hard to imagine what would happen to performances on the MCHS stage if it weren't for the Stage Crew. This group of boys, under the direction of Mr. Hunter Judd, is certainly one of the most important and hardworking in the school. Any boy who has been a Stage Monitor for one semester and who is interested in learning about lighting and prop management is eligible to join the Stage Crew. Harrison, and J. Edwardsl LATIN CLUB SB was a big year for the Latin Club of lVl.C.l'l.S. because of the biennial Roman Banquet. The banquet, which was held in March, featured Roman food and a slave dance, and the members dressed in togas made of sheets. Earlier in the year, the informal and formal iniations were held along with an in- formal picnic. New club mem- bers were required to know the state and club mottos in Latin, and they also had to perform several stunts During the year, with the help of the club sponsor, Mrs. Elizabeth Penzien, the mem- bers learned about the history of old Rome and about Roman myths. During the course of the year, there was a Christmas party of Saturnalia celebration. Carols were sung in Latin and Latin puzzles served as enter- tainment, and the members exchanged gifts.
