That Are Beyond The HCa11 Of Duty GOODBYE, M.C.H.S. Suddenly it's June, and we, the class of l958, are about to leave after four long years. As the oldsters around school this past year, we have found ourselves being looked to and looked at for advice and example. As the year went along, and we grew older, and supposed- ly wiser, we began to look back on our school careers. There were many events in our high school careers which we would change if only we could, and there are many things which we would do if we were given the chance again. Most of us would admit that seldom did we work to the best of our ability. All of us might have been kinder, friendlier, and more considerate of our classmates and teachers. Over the years, most of the class of '58 have been guilty of 'putting oft until tomorrow what we should have done today, and of day- dreaming about the future while the present passed us up. You underclassmen, as future seniors, still have an opportunity to help yourselves to a happy, usefull career. The class of 1958 urges you to work and have fun so that when you look back on your years at M.C.H.S., your memories will be lastingly happy ones. 3 x law N- l'1rry XX'iustaulcy, stuclcnt coiuicil prusimlinl ds a discussion in Liouucil nn-t-ting. Some Seniors Spend Time Doing Things Carole Ernst, senior class president, studies hcr agenda in preparation for a class officers meeting. GOOD LUCK, SEN IORS! For most Bathers, the '57-'58 school year has been a busy time. There have been days and events which none of us will ever forget. Now it seems that almost without warn- ing, june and final exams have crept up on us again. As underclassmen, we face the end of the school year with one basic feeling - relief! However, for almost four hundred Bathers, the class of l958, june has a different meaning this year. For them, june will mean gradu- ation and new beginnings, as well as sadness at leaving old friends and familiar surround- ings. lt is with more than just a little envy that we underclassmen view the seniors as june comes around each year. Even though we must stay behind, we wish the members of the class of l95S all possible good luck. and we hope they will carry the memory of lVl.C.H.S. and the Battling Bathers with them wherever they may go.
