JUNIOR VARSITY BASKETBALL This year's jayVee basketball team hnished their season with a seven won and nine lost record. Each game provided thrills for the fans and experience for every player on the team. The many hours of practice proved very rewarding for four members of the team, when in the middle of the season, they were promoted and became varsity players. John Buckholz swam the butterfly breast stroke in the new time of l:06.5 and he also set a new mark of l:42.2 in the l50 yard individual medley race. Duane Gamm was clocked at l:08 in the back stroke in setting a new record in that race and the 200 yard medley relay team of Duane Gamm, Bob Nicholson, jerry Markle and Jack Smoot set a new record of 2:02 for that event.
