Any girls in the tenth through twelfth grades at MCHS are eligable to join the club. Two of the big events of the year for the Y-Teens are the formal and informal initiations. After the initiates pass through these two ceremonies, they are eligible to wear the Y-Teen uniform which consists of a white blouse, navy skirt, and the light blue, triangle-shaped scarf. Sponsored by Mrs. Virginia Adams, Mrs. Evelyn Gerkey, Mrs. Eunice Cuiambrone, Mrs. Norma Judd and Mrs. Ciloria Page, the club performs many charitable acts during the year. Among these are the hlling and sending of food baskets to needy families during the Christmas season and at other times during the year. ln the past, the club has also filled chests for the Red Cross, taken potted plants and fruits to various hospitals in town, collected old glasses for the needy and small toys for underpriviledged children. Another of the jobs for which the club is noted is the sending of the MCHS paper, The Mirror, to former Mount Clemens High School students who are in the Armed Forces. and L. Johnson. Fourth r0w: D.
