Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed seniors boarded the four buses at 5:00 AM in front of school to leave for their day senior trip. Besides walking around the park and riding rides, Debby Ashby and Diane Smith look over the wide variety of souvenirs and gifts available to all. xtlllttr zl Class First T0 Make Trp To Kings Island One hundred and fifty weary and sleepy seniors boarded the chartered buses at 5:00 AM, Wednesday, May 31, 1972. The long ride to Cincinnati, Ohio, was an exciting and fun-filled time. This was the first trip made to the new park at Kings Island. Many fled first to the giant roller coaster, where many stomachs were lost and screams were heard. Others tried the other rides such as the log ride, lovers lane, the Paris Tower, train, a bottomless barrel, and those who weren,t as brave, the smaller roller coasters. Although it rained and the weather was in the low forties, seniors walked the wide area and ate their lunches in the buses. On the journey home, many told of their exciting day and some sat still waiting for their heads to stop spinning. Once again arriving home, seniors, very tired and ex- cited, made their way home. The friendly animals at Kings Island warmly greeted Donna Turner, Bon nie Rushmeier and seniors as they entered the cold park.
