Steekler Crowned ,71- '72 Homecoming Queen A beautiful Homecoming Queen accented by a beautiful quartet of attending girls in the Queens Court, coupled with a close exciting football victory over Carmi and a perfect dance featuring John Brown's Body, and Homecoming is par excellence for the year. Senior Margaret Steckler was elected Homecoming Queen and her elected attendants were as follows: Ann Fuller, seniorg Hannah Epler, junior, Alice Trapp, sophomore, and Christine Oliver, freshman. The pep assembly, parade, snake dance, game and informal dance were all equally successful. This year the parade and snake dance were accompanied by rain. But activities still went on. Students, faculty and alumni can look back to Home- coming ,72 as the epitomy of perfectibility. l I In celebration of the Aces triumphant victory over Carmi Bulldogs in the Homecoming game, these couples show their joy as they dance to the mu- As newly crowned queen, Margaret Steckler, is driven off the football field, she thinks this honor will be a memorable experience of her Senior year. sic of John Brown's Body.
