ASSEMBLY PROGRAMS During the year, there have been several enjoyable assem- blies presented to the student body. Among these have been an animal act, a marionette show, and a Student Council variety show. The animal act, an exhibition of ditterent kinds ot animals, showed what protes- sional training can teach ani- mals. lllustrating the assem- bling and engineering ot sev- eral types ot marionettes, the marionette show provided an entertaining assembly tor the students. The assembly spon- sored by the Student Council teatured comedy and musical acts by students. Student Council President, Judy Risley, receives the N.E.C. Championship football trophy from Captain Butch Locke. This pertormance demonstrated the patience and practice required in skilltully operating a marion- ette. Participating in a rousing pep assembly are these students.
