Class of 1957 WITH MINGLED FEELINGS of joy and sadness, we, the seniors, take a backward glance at our past years at Mt. Carmel High School. This glance reveals mo- ments of carefree fun along with those of added responsibility. These past four years have been filled with unforgettable friendships, careful guidance, training, and preparation for the future. There is a feeling of extreme accomplish- ment and happiness as we now approach the climax of our high school career. Yet mixed with this delight is a bit of sorrow- these pleasant days have passed much too quickly. With a flourish of caps and gowns as diplomas are received, and with upturned faces, we, the class of '57, look toward the future ready to accept its challenge.
