ALL THE WORLD ' S A STAGE, AND ALL THE MEN AND WOMEN MERELY PLAYERS. As You Like It, Act II, Sc. vii. Forget the realities of life for a moment, and con- sider yourself a player in a huge drama. The theatre is your own Mount Carmel High School. The many scenes in this great production are both varied and interesting, and in the course of time, you will play many parts. Any drama must have directors, stars, understudies, supporting actors, angels, and back- stage hands, and this is no exception. Everyone has a role in this production, and no matter how large or how small it may be, it is important that, if the play is to be a sell-out, everyone must do his best work at his part. Under the capable direction of your faculty di- rectors, you will gain experience and knowledge which will aid you in achieving your highest hopes and aims. in this play, as in any drama, there is growth, struggle, and development. But along with these, there is accomplishment, and when the curtain falls on the final scene, you will feel as though you have done your part to help the show go on.

VedcMted « FRANK COOMER Cheerful, loyal, a very rare example of moral courage . . . these were only a few of the qualities that make Frank Coomer unforgettable. Those who knew him casually, honored him; those who knew him and understood him, admired him; and those to whom he was a close friend, loved him. His great faith in God led him to the fulfill- ment of his highest aims. Although Frank Coomer has passed away, his memory shall live forever in the hearts of many. With these thoughts in mind, we, the Sibylline staff of 1 955, dedicate this yearbook to his memory.
