BROADHEAD With his cheerful willingness to guide and help stu- dents in solving individual problems, Mr. Broadhead, principal for the first semester, did much to improve the smooth functioning of M.C.H.S. JOHN P. ALLEN Entering M.C.H.S. as the nev f principal during the second semester, Mr. Allen undertook his duties dili- gently and devoted his time and efforts to the welfare of the student body. O cce 7( oft €nA KATHRYN COWLING, MADELINE HARRIS DOROTHY HELMERICH Performing many varied tasks, the office forces find their work never-ending. Always cheerful and efficient, they write announcements, type letters and tests, issue passes and absentee slips, plan the schedules of all members of the student body, and take care of all correspondence and money matters concerning M.C.H.S. and Community Unit No. 348. Someone once said, If you want a good job done, ask the busiest people to do it. This is certainly true of our office worker s, who do a wonderful behind-the-scenes job.

Through the efforts and the careful consideration of the Board of Education, the educational policies of M.C.H.S. are maintained. At their monthly meetings, they discuss the many problems which arise con- cerning the functioning of the school and its activities. HURLEY GOULD Before being elected to the office of Wabash Co. Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Gould was a popular member of the M.C.H.S. fac- ulty. Hurley taught practical math, and was co-sponsor of the M Club. FORREST OATES Through his patient counseling and guidance, Mr. Oates has made much progress in the betterment of the schools as Superintendent of Community District No. 348. His chief concern has been to improve the welfare of our educational system.

Cheerful, likable, always ready to aid us, the faculty makes it possible for our school to function smoothly. Because of their efficient guidance and willing service, we as students or understudies have been able to attain our ultimate goals.
