SENATE The Student Senate is made up of representatives from the student body chosen by their peers in Social Science and HeaIth,f'Driyer's Ed, classes, as well as from the body of students at lorge. The Senate posses laws and makes amendments to the Mt, Carmel Constitution. lt is through these efforts that we, as students, are allowed certain rights, clubs, ond activities. This past year saw the development of Senate committees which made amendments to the constitution for greater service to the student body. The Senate made sure the concerns of the student body were handled quickly and effectively. This years odvisor was Mrs. Riclsetson, who helped the Senate in another productive and successful year. SRB The Student Review Board is the Judicial branch of Mt, Carmels student government. The rnainjob of the SRD is to oversee the ASB Nominating Convention. They tally the votes of the delegates and place the qualifying candidates on the general ballot. The SRD also works with the Senate to work OUT any questions about our constitution, as well as making sure it is adhered to.
