TOOAY 'ga-is 0 'fou:sgu l 0lwf:s, Queeg 3 liigggg .iaalgu 'mite' Students and friends of' Carmel will always remember Brother's invaluable Memory Training Course. l The name of the person to whom an annual is dedicated is always top secret. lt is something that no one, out- side of the student Staff, knows until the moment of presentation. lt is a secret that is particularly well kept from the person so honored. It has always been the custom of the El Conquistador Staff to dedicate our work to some individual who has done more than his share to make Mount Carmel the outstanding school it is. With this fact in mind, it stands to reason that this person must symbolize to us all the qualities we, the Student Body have worked for in order to make them synonymous with Mount Carmel High School. We have chosen a man who zealously protects the honor and glory of the school. His every action personifies the Carmelite motto: With zeal I am zealous for the Lord God of hosts. In class, his aim is to make every Carmel student a living example of Christian principles. It was our sincere desire to show our appreciation and gratitude to such a man: a man known to us as Brother Francis Otto, Order of Carmelites. The work of a devoted man is a twenty- four-hour-a-day iob.
