Activities Besides the extra-curricular trips, there are several offered to all MCA students, Just after the closing of school, the seniors depart on their trip. In August of 1959, students were given the opportunity of at- tending the Summer School of Catholic Ac- tion in New York City. MCA Seniors join other tourists in witnessing the impressive ceremony of the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Sold- ier in Arlington National Cemetery. Terre Elmer and Mathilda Prestia are pictured on the steps of the oldest courthouse in the U. S. at Annapolis, Mary- land. The girls were members of the Senior Trip of 1959. Members of the Sodality-sponsored SSCA trip are pictured on their cruise arotuid New York harbor. The interesting background is provided by the imposing United Nations build,- ing.
