Cap. Father Clarence has been our Father at Mount Assisi for fifteen years C1942-1951, 1953-19591, giving us the golden years of his holy priesthood. Father loves our School. He calls it his paradise. Always a humble and cultured son of his Seraphic Father, Saint Francis-wise and prudent, generous and kind and easy to approach- I , Fmlger Clarence has proven himself a devoted Father to us, his spiritual 'T- c u ren. ini? fy? S--gg, He it was who nourished our spiritual lives these many years from the Altar in the confessional in the classroom Ever the friend of little people never did he turn a deaf ear to any student with a problem or question or dimculty Over the years at the Mount a more loyal supporter of our basketball team would be difficult to find Has keenest interest has been ln us We thank God for giving Father Clarence to Mount Assisi His is surely the spirit of this Franciscan stronghold A real Franciscan' There is no better description of him There can be no higher compliment We will not we cannot forget him' Ad multos multos annos' ll 5
