REGISTRATION REACHES ALL-TIME HIG STUDENT COUNCIL INTRODUCES TWO NEW COMMITTEES This year the Student Coun- cil has introduced something totally new into its schedule- the organization of two com- mittees, the Rules and Means Committee and the Activities Committee. The Rules and Means Com- mittee, which includes 23 Stu- dent Council members, is head- ed by Germaine St. Germaine, chairman, and Joyce Keller, co- chairman. With the help of posters drawn by Mary Ann Ruhnke and Bernadette Koziol, the Rules and Means Commit- tee emphasizes a different point each week, such as si- lence is golden, neat hairdos, and the correct skirt length. The Activities Committee, composed of 15 members, has Connie Olszewski as chairman and Cynthia Kolberg as co- chairman. The purpose of the Activities Committee is to con- sider projects that would bene- fit the entire school. At the regular Friday meeting of the Student Council, the chairman proposes the committee's sug- gestions for discussion.
