The central theme of the religion classes was the preparation for the Iiternal Com- mencement. The rules of grammar and composi- tion were applied to the writing of long themes in English. Much of Spains history is learned while translating Spanish stories. On September 6, 1050, the seniors made their way to Mt. Alvernia for the last year. The schedules were arranged, and again the girls were knee- deep in studies, but believing in the saying 'Z-Xll work and no play makes Jill a dull girl, they have been very active socially.
