In addition to the usual congratulations offered to the members of graduating classes, special congratu- lations should be extended to the Class of 1972. You represent the first class to have completed the full four year high school program at Mt. Abraham Union High School. The true value of the formal educa- tional program in which you have been involved, will be measured by the degree of success that each of you encounters in your chosen field of work or further study. You may be confident knowing that the op- portunities made available to you at this school will enable you to assume responsible citizenship in a con- tinuously changing society. Best wishes to all members of the Class of 1972 for future success in all your endeavors. W. Neal Hoadley Superintendent of Schools It Mr». Elizabeth Heffernan, Secretary to Superintendent

Mr. John Connolly. Principal; Mr. Anthony Dominick, Assistant Principal The element of change, so characteristic of today’s world in nearly every par! of human existence, is particularly descriptive of the field of education. The Class of 1972 conclude their high school education, realizing change in many areas of our society and world is most necessary, and equally, that not all change is either necessary or desirable. Members of this graduating class, along with many graduating classes, will help to determine the socie- ty and world we live in, through careful planning and implementation of change. The Class of 1972 can and will accept this responsibility. 1 extend my best wishes to each graduate, that each will be successful with life and satisfied with your chosen goal. Mr . Betty Ferris, Mrs. Mary Fleming, Mrs. Janis Farrier. Mrs. Janice Kilbourn, Mrs. Genevieve Strong John Connolly Principal VKWCIPAI 12
